Construction Laborer

Laborer Job Description A Construction Crew Laborer is responsible for the being an active, contributing team member with the goal of completing top quality, cost efficient projects according to the Company's policies, procedures and contracts. This position contributes to a construction team while promoting a positive attitude, developing an atmosphere for setting, meeting and exceeding goals, and encouraging all team members to be their best selves and provide a positive customer experience. A laborer is a very physical job, working manual labor year-round, in all kinds of weather. Laborer Responsibilities Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site Consult foreman and leadman on construction plans Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks Help keep the work environment safe by understanding and adhering to all health and safety procedures Maintain an orderly and clean work site Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Uphold the Shamrock Buildings, LLC high set of standards and high level of quality and customer service Laborer Requirements Ability to communicate well in English Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team Must provide your own tool bags and hardhat, all other required tools will be provided by Shamrock Buildings LLC Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Shamrock Buildings, LLC offers a great benefits package to their employees including: medical insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k plan with company match, and paid time off after a period of time.
