Job Description

CDL Laborer About Us Global Underground Corporation is a Colorado based underground utility construction company that has been serving Colorado and neighboring states since 1999. We provide services such as utility excavation, horizontal directional drilling, auger boring, hydro-excavation, pipe fusion, and pipe-bursting to install and repair water, sewer, gas, electrical and communication utilities. Global Underground has built a reputation for completing complex, high profile underground utility installations and repairs with advanced technology and experienced crews. We are seeking a hard-working Laborer with CDL to join our Maxi Rig crew and a Laborer with CDL to join our Open Excavation crew. In this role the candidate will move between tasks throughout the day and must be able to interact with all members of our team, customers, and vendors. Consistently prioritizes safety and treats everyone with respect and professionalism.
Experience and Requirements:
Must be willing to travel for long periods of time Class "A" Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement-must be able to drive manual transmission Driving dump trucks, water trucks, tanker trucks or tractor trailers Performing laboring work when not operating vehicles, to include but not limited to: working on uneven ground and rough terrain and in extreme weather. Maintain all vehicle inspections daily to assure vehicles are in good safe working conditions Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues Lifting 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday Ability to work 6 days per week and 12 hours per day Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with federal and state regulations (CDOT, OSHA) Must be team oriented, detail oriented, focused, and a great communicator Other Experience preferred: OSHA training Tanker endorsement Previous construction or underground utility experience 1st Aid / CPR Compensation & Benefits $30-$40 per hour depending on experience Advancement and Professional Growth opportunities Training for industry certifications (OSHA 10, Trench Shoring, CPR, etc.) 100% employer paid health insurance for employees and family contribution Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays 401(k) with 4% company match Boot and Prescription Safety Glass Allowance We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other status protected by applicable law. $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
