Job Title:
General Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a motivated General Carpenter to support a variety of construction projects, including commercial and residential work. This role involves demolition, general carpentry tasks, and the use of basic hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and comfortable working in dynamic job site environments. Responsibilities Perform demolition work including removal of drywall, flooring, fixtures, and other materials. Assist with general carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, trim work, and minor repairs. Safely operate hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.). Support both commercial and residential construction projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organized job site, including debris removal and site prep. Follow all safety protocols and complete daily hazard assessments/documentation. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment. Work collaboratively with team members and take direction from supervisors. Essential Skills Experience using basic hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Strong awareness of job site safety practices. Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. Reliable work ethic and willingness to learn. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous construction, carpentry, or demolition experience Experience with commercial construction projects is a plus, with some residential experience beneficial. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
