Horton Electrical Services, LLC is looking to hire full-time Construction Laborers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions. They should also be punctual and can work in a team environment. Must be familiar with utilizing tools for construction activities like shovels, rakes, saws, pallet jacks and hand tools. Laborers will coordinate onsite activities with equipment operator and/or Foreman. Laborer will sometimes operate small equipment (skid steer loader, fork trucks, and aerial lifts) and utilizes company vehicles for transportation of equipment and material to jobsites.

QUALIFICATIONS

Require a valid and clean Driver's License. High School Diploma or GED required. Require a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification. Construction experience preferred. Ability to perform physical labor and other physically strenuous tasks. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. without limitations. Be able to be an independent thinker and be able to work as a part of a team. Leadership qualities. Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Willingness to travel to various job sites within the State of Connecticut. Must be punctual, reliable and possess an excellent work ethic. Safety-conscious work environment. All positions require physical labor, positive attitude, and a willingness to follow our safety policies. Applicants must pass a Pre-Employment Health Performance Exam, pre-hire drug and alcohol testing prior to starting. This full-time position is Monday-Friday .

Salary range:

$22 - $25 PAY
