Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing outdoor hardscaping projects, including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry features. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and layout of hardscape construction sites according to project plans and technical drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to install paving stones, bricks, concrete forms, retaining walls, and other masonry features Follow detailed construction plans and specifications to ensure precise installation of building materials Support the fabrication and installation of various hardscape elements such as stonework, concrete forms, and decorative features Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure project milestones are met on schedule Assist with site inspections, quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards throughout the project lifecycle Skills Proven construction experience with a focus on hardscaping or masonry projects Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation related to outdoor construction Strong understanding of construction plans, technical drawings, and interpreting specifications Knowledge of building materials installation including concrete forming, masonry, tile laying, drywall, stucco, plastering, roofing, flooring installation, and glass or cabinet installation is a plus Familiarity with safety protocols specific to outdoor construction sites Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam or similar tools is advantageous Basic electrical experience or plumbing knowledge can be beneficial for certain projects Excellent teamwork skills combined with strong attention to detail and safety awareness Join us if you're eager to build exceptional outdoor spaces while advancing your construction expertise!
