Responsibilities Assist with site preparation activities including grading, excavation, and erosion control measures to ensure a stable foundation for construction projects. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as digging, lifting, and material handling. Implement erosion control strategies to prevent soil displacement and protect the environment during construction activities. Perform manual handling of materials, supplies, and equipment, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly storing tools and disposing of debris in accordance with safety standards. Follow all OSHA safety standards and workplace safety regulations diligently to create a secure working environment for all team members. Requirements Prior experience in industrial or commercial construction sites is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued. Knowledge of erosion control practices and environmental protection measures on construction sites. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and safe operation of power tools. Familiarity with workplace safety protocols including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection, climbing safety, and manual handling techniques. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
