In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your hands-on work will support various phases of construction, from groundwork to finishing touches, contributing directly to the successful delivery of diverse projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on community development. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as carrying supplies, materials, and equipment around the site Operate power tools and hand tools safely to support framing, concrete pouring, formwork construction, and other tasks Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping concrete according to project specifications Install rebar, metal studs, framing components, and perform masonry or stucco work as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade such as carpentry or masonry is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment or vehicles if required for specific tasks Basic mechanical knowledge related to construction processes and materials Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete finishing, tile laying, roofing, or restoration techniques Join our team if you're eager to build your career in construction!
