Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer / Helper and become a vital part of building projects that make a difference! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing various construction tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will drive project success, while you gain valuable hands-on experience in industrial construction environments. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow within the construction industry. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment Support skilled workers by preparing tools, equipment, and materials needed for construction tasks Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials and operating power tools safely Assist skilled tradesmen by following instructions, supporting layout and installation work, and completing assigned job site tasks. Assist with end of day clean up of jobsite, tools, and trash. Qualifications Prior experience in construction environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings accurately is a plus and may lead to advancement into more technical positions Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, manual handling, and use of power tools safely Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen, then carry out assigned tasks accurately and efficiently. Willingness to learn new construction methods, develop technical skills, and take on increasing responsibility as experience grows. Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Join us to build your future in construction! Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
