You will play a key role in ensuring construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Assist with the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Operate power tools and construction equipment, including drills, saws, and compactors, maintaining proper safety procedures at all times. Conduct erosion control measures to protect sites from environmental impact, including installing silt fences and sediment barriers. Follow all workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures. Support equipment repair and maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery. Engage in heavy lifting tasks while adhering strictly to safety guidelines for manual handling and mechanical knowledge. Qualifications Proven industrial construction experience with a solid understanding of construction workplace safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and interpret technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of erosion control techniques and environmental protection practices on construction sites. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks throughout the workday. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and industrial equipment used in construction environments. Commitment to workplace safety with a strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection requirements, and general safety regulations.
