Preferred Qualifications:
Prior construction, concrete, or general labor experience a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus On-the-job training provided
Skills:
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods Willingness to learn sidewalk and concrete construction tasks (setting forms, placing/finishing concrete, operating hand and power tools) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Willingness to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions
Required Screenings:
Employer will discuss. Looking for a Common Laborers to support our concrete crews on FDOT and municipal construction projects. This is an entry-level, full-time position with on-the-job training provided no prior construction experience is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the crew with all phases of sidewalk, curb, and concrete structure installation Set up and strip concrete forms Mix, place, and spread concrete Operate hand tools and power tools as directed Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment Set up and maintain traffic control/work zone safety devices Keep the jobsite clean and organized throughout the workday Perform general labor duties under the direction of the Foreman and Concrete Finishers Follow all company and OSHA jobsite safety requirements
Work Environment:
Outdoor construction jobsites; standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods; exposure to heat, sun, and weather conditions. Standard PPE (steel-toe boots, safety vest, etc.) required. Will be discussed with applicant.

Days & Hours:
Full Time position; Monday through Saturday; 1st shift (7:30am to 3:30pm); 40 hours per week. Complete work schedule will be discussed with applicant.
Pay:
$23 to $30 per hour; depends on experience. Benefits are offered.
