Full Job Description Description:
The Golf Simulator Construction Technician is Innovative Sim's dedicated golf tech for the Tampa market and plays a key role in bringing our premium simulator experiences to life on the construction side of every build. This hands-on position is ideal for a candidate with strong skills in finish carpentry, framing, and drywall; working familiarity with technology and audio/video systems; and general knowledge of construction. The role focuses on the physical build-out of golf simulator enclosures, hitting bays, and other spaces across the Tampa area and Southeast region. The technician will report to the Tampa Golf Division Manager and work with other field teams to deliver turnkey, high-performance systems. Site Preparation & Framing Evaluate site conditions and assist with pre-install walkthroughs as needed Frame and construct enclosures, hitting bays, and platform structures per project specifications Hang, finish, and repair drywall for enclosures, showroom buildouts, and equipment housings Perform finish carpentry and trim work to a premium, client-ready standard Safely operate power tools and construction equipment on-site Golf Simulator Assembly & Installation Install and align screens, impact materials, turf flooring, acoustical panels, and related components Mount projectors, cameras, swing sensors, and audio/video gear Manage cable routing, concealment, and finish trim as required for a premium look Technology Integration Support Assist with system wiring and AV calibration under guidance from Innovative tech leads if present Install sim computers and test to ensure simulator connectivity Support sensor and launch monitor setup (Uneekor, Trackman, Foresight, PuttView, etc.) Quality Control & Client Readiness Ensure all physical and visual components meet Innovative's quality standards Conduct final walkthroughs with team and client as needed Educate clients on golf sim use and care (technical walkthroughs handled by Golf Division Manager) Tampa Support Projects Serve as the primary construction resource for Tampa-area buildouts, including framing, drywall, and finish work to represent the brand at a high standard Provide drywall patching, framing, and finish support for local AV and lighting installation projects as needed Collaboration & Travel Work directly with Golf Division Manager to execute jobs on time and on budget Serve as the on-the-ground technician for Tampa-based projects; some travel required Represent Innovative on-site with professionalism and a customer service focus Benefits Weekly Pay Subsized Health & Dental Coverage Options 401

Required:
3+ years of experience in construction, carpentry, framing, or drywall/finish work Proficient with tools and construction layout processes (framing, drywall, finish carpentry, trim Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred:
Familiarity with installing golf simulators (Uneekor, Trackman, Foresight, etc.) General AV or technology installation experience Ability to lift 75 lbs and work from ladders or lifts as needed Work Environment & Physical Requirements Some travel and occasional overnight stays required Indoor and partially finished residential and commercial job sites, including showroom buildouts Occasional long workdays during key construction and install phases Requires standing, bending, lifting, and working with hand tools for extended periods
