Responsibilities Assist with various construction activities including framing, drywall installation, roofing, and concrete finishing to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, lifting, and material handling. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Support specialized tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, stucco application, tile laying, and glass or cabinet installation as needed. Prepare surfaces through caulking, plastering, or painting; assist with restoration or remodeling projects to enhance building integrity. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work sequences and maintain a clean, organized job site. Experience Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety protocols and construction procedures. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), roofing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete forming. Familiarity with construction management practices and inspection standards is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks such as drywall finishing, plastering, restoration work or glass installation. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
