Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of building and renovating structures that make a difference! This energetic role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you'll assist with various construction tasks, operate tools and equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry, this position provides an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to exciting projects. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutters safely and efficiently Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to support structural integrity Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks Construct formwork and masonry structures, including walls, floors, and other concrete elements Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and protocols Support heavy lifting activities and handle materials for renovation or new construction projects Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and heavy equipment safely Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately Knowledge of construction estimating principles for material needs and project timelines (nice-to-have) Familiarity with masonry, plastering, flooring installation, and hardscape work is advantageous Understanding of construction safety regulations and proper adherence to safety protocols at all times Proven experience working on diverse construction projects with a focus on renovation or new builds This role is perfect for individuals passionate about construction who thrive in active environments. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
