Panama City, Florida Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination:

Lead survey field crew in Construction Layout surveying activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Surveying Operations:

Conduct topographic, boundary, AS-BUILT, and construction surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.

Data Collection and Analysis:

Oversee the collection, processing, and interpretation of survey data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Problem Solving:

Address and resolve any technical or logistical challenges encountered during field operations, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Client Interaction:

Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

Team Development:

Mentor and train junior survey crew members, fostering their professional growth and development within the organization.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. Familiarity with CAD software for survey data processing and analysis.

Leadership Abilities:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to overcoming challenges encountered in the field.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain, and to lift and carry survey equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
