This role involves overseeing the scheduling, coordination, and management of piping and plumbing labor resources on active construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that labor deployment aligns with project timelines, budgets, and safety standards while facilitating effective communication among trades, subcontractors, and project managers. This position is vital to maintaining smooth workflow, optimizing productivity, and supporting the successful completion of complex civil engineering projects. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule piping and plumbing labor crews to meet project milestones and deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to understand labor requirements and adjust staffing plans accordingly. Monitor daily labor activities on-site to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Maintain detailed records of labor hours, productivity metrics, and resource allocation using construction management software. Assist in developing and updating project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools. Support procurement processes by tracking material deliveries and coordinating with suppliers to prevent delays. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine labor needs and optimize workforce deployment. Facilitate communication between field teams and office staff to resolve scheduling conflicts or resource shortages promptly. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations related to labor scope, safety regulations, and industry standards. Contribute to cost management efforts by monitoring labor costs against budgets using Excel data analysis techniques. Skills Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, or equivalent platforms. Strong experience with scheduling software including Primavera P6 or similar tools. Knowledge of construction estimating, project planning, and civil engineering project management software. Expertise in construction industry practices related to piping and plumbing systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills for coordinating between diverse teams across multiple projects. Analytical skills for data analysis related to Excel data analysis and cost management. Familiarity with construction plans, contracts, and time management principles. Demonstrated experience in construction site operations with a focus on piping & plumbing trades. Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands while maintaining attention to detail.
