Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your energy, attention to safety, and ability to follow detailed instructions will contribute directly to the successful completion of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in various aspects of construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as specified in blueprints and technical drawings Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, and other structural components according to construction plans Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for masonry, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, plastering, and concrete finishing Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment like concrete mixers and pumps as well as hand tools and power tools Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for proper execution of tasks Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions Prior experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring/cutting/pumping, caulking, stucco application, metal stud framing, flooring installation or tile laying is highly desirable Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction!
