Job Description

Low Voltage / Security Installation Helper We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our installation team as a Low Voltage / Security Installation Helper. This position will work alongside experienced technicians installing security systems in commercial and financial institution facilities. No previous security experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a good work ethic, takes direction well, and is interested in learning the low-voltage security trade. Responsibilities Assist technicians with the installation of security systems and equipment Pull, route, label, and organize low-voltage cable Assist with installing security cameras, card readers, door hardware, alarms, intercoms, and related equipment Use hand and power tools safely and properly Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas when required Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow installation drawings, instructions, and company standards Work professionally in occupied commercial and financial institution facilities Learn the installation and operation of various security systems and equipment Travel to job sites as required Qualifications Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Dependable and willing to show up ready to work Comfortable working on ladders and in elevated areas Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Able to lift and carry equipment and materials Able to work independently as well as take direction from a lead technician Good attitude and willingness to learn Previous construction, electrical, low-voltage, or security experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For The most important thing is reliability and a willingness to learn. We can teach the security side of the trade, but we need someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and wants to develop their skills. This is an opportunity to learn a skilled trade and develop into a security/low-voltage technician.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
