Construction Laborer

Job Description

Job Overview Experienced Construction Laborer - Not an Apprentice Position We are looking for an experienced Construction Laborer to join our growing construction team. This is not an entry-level or apprenticeship position . The ideal candidate should have hands-on construction experience, be comfortable working independently, and have a strong understanding of construction practices, tools, materials, and job-site safety. This position will support a variety of residential and commercial construction, renovation, demolition, and restoration projects . The right candidate will be dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and capable of stepping onto a job site and contributing immediately. You will work alongside our construction team to complete projects efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can problem-solve in the field, and understands the importance of quality workmanship and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform a variety of skilled and general construction tasks on residential and commercial job sites Assist with site preparation, layout, demolition, material staging, and cleanup Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently Read and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, and job-site instructions Perform concrete work, including forming, rebar installation, pouring, finishing, cutting, and repair Complete framing and carpentry work, including metal studs, wood framing, and basic trim work Install and repair drywall, stucco, roofing materials, and other building materials as required Assist with masonry and other structural construction work Perform demolition and restoration work as needed Properly measure, cut, install, and secure construction materials Identify job-site issues and communicate problems or changes to the appropriate supervisor Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable OSHA and workplace safety requirements Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to complete tasks independently Maintain a professional attitude when working with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and other personnel Qualifications Previous hands-on construction experience is required This is not an apprenticeship or entry-level position Demonstrated experience working on residential and/or commercial construction projects Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and job-site practices Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and other construction equipment Experience with concrete forming, rebar, pouring, finishing, and cutting is preferred Experience with framing, drywall, metal studs, roofing, stucco, or masonry is a plus Basic carpentry and framing skills preferred Ability to accurately measure, calculate, and follow project specifications Strong understanding of job-site safety and proper use of personal protective equipment Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license is preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who already knows construction and can hit the ground running. You should be comfortable using construction tools, understanding job-site expectations, and performing a variety of tasks without needing extensive basic training. Pay:
