Construction Laborer

MUST BE BASED OUT OF UPPER MIDWEST OR NEAR STATE OF IOWA.

Royale Concrete specializes in concrete polishing, repair and surface preparation. Based in southeast Iowa, we serve the Midwestern United States. We are looking for highly motivated, responsible, individuals looking for a career that won't be afraid to get their hands dirty, and work hard. Candidate will be a support person to concrete polishers in the field as they learn on the job, the trade of concrete polishing. Serious applications only. This position is based out of Iowa. We do not provide relocation assistance.

Starting wage:

$20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Reporting safety violations/issues
• Reporting equipment maintenance issues.
• Using equipment properly.
• Assist team members in the field with successful completion of projects.
• Seek out customer service opportunities.
• Find opportunities to create efficiencies and reduce waste in work flow and material usage.
• Follow work plan orchestrated by project management team.
• Manage personal safety and maintain OSHA certification.
• Learn machine and tooling knowledge.
• Use and install products used in our processes.
• Load and unload equipment and set up job sites.
• Inventory of products.
• Organize equipment and supplies.
• Attend training and classes when applicable.

Requirements:

• Full-time Travel Required for short assignments. Home most weekends.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification (preferred)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to kneel for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend over for long periods of time.
