In this role, you will play a vital part in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various construction tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and safety protocols. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while on the job site. Skills Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required. Ability to follow directions accurately and work collaboratively with a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met. Willingness to learn new skills related to construction practices and safety measures.
