Job Summary Wendler Inc. is seeking an experienced Skilled Laborer with a background in heavy civil, utility, industrial, or infrastructure construction. This is not an entry-level laborer position. The ideal candidate brings hands-on construction experience, understands jobsite operations, and can contribute productively with limited instruction. Skilled Laborers work alongside operators, carpenters, pipe crews, concrete crews, and other field personnel to safely complete complex civil construction projects. Candidates should be comfortable working around heavy equipment, excavations, underground utilities, concrete, piping, and active construction operations. Required Skills/Abilities Commitment to continuous learning, skill development, and safe work practices. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to contribute effectively as part of an experienced field crew. Ability to understand and follow directions while working independently when appropriate. Ability to adapt as project conditions, priorities, and assignments change. Must be willing and able to travel based on project needs. This position is designated as safety sensitive. Skilled Laborers are expected to follow all Company safety procedures, properly use tools and equipment, and maintain safe work practices for themselves and those around them. Education and Experience Previous heavy civil, utility, industrial, or infrastructure construction experience required. Heavy equipment operating experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to access and navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times and push or pull loads of approximately 50 pounds. Must possess the strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to safely perform physically demanding construction work. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and climb stairs while carrying materials weighing approximately 40-60 pounds. Must be able to work Saturdays, nights, extended hours, or alternate schedules when required by project needs. $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
