Treasure Valley, Idaho Snake River Hardscapes is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our hardscaping crew. We specialize in retaining walls, paver patios, concrete, excavation, drainage, and other outdoor construction projects throughout the Treasure Valley. We are looking for people who are willing to work hard, learn new skills, and take pride in doing quality work. Previous construction or hardscape experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Assist with installation of retaining walls, paver patios, concrete, and other hardscape projects Perform excavation, grading, hauling, and site preparation Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment Operate basic hand and power tools safely Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow directions from the foreman and work effectively as part of a crew Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Learn and develop new hardscape and construction skills Perform other general construction and landscaping duties as needed Requirements Must be 16 years of age or older Reliable transportation to and from job sites Work boots required Must be physically capable of consistently lifting and moving 50-90 pounds throughout the workday Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work Ability to follow instructions and work well with others Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to maintain a consistent pace and work efficiently Previous hardscape, construction, landscaping, concrete, excavation, or retaining-wall experience is preferred Compensation $17-$25 per hour, depending on experience, knowledge, skill level, and ability. Candidates with experience in retaining walls, paver installation, concrete, excavation, grading, drainage, or other hardscape construction may qualify for higher starting pay. Experience is great, but reliability, work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn are just as important. This is a hands-on construction job. You will be working with heavy materials and equipment and should expect physical labor throughout the day.
