Job Description
Landscape Construction Crew Member / Laborer Job Overview One Landscape is looking for dependable, hardworking Landscape Construction Crew Members / Laborers to join our team. This is a hands-on outdoor position working on a variety of residential and commercial landscape construction projects throughout the Treasure Valley. No landscape experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who is reliable, works hard, and wants to learn. Our crews build complete landscape installations including irrigation systems, pavers, retaining walls, planting, sod, rock, grading, and other outdoor improvements. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, show up consistently, work well with a crew, and want to develop valuable skills. Pay $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and ability. Responsibilities Assist with residential and commercial landscape construction projects Install sod, plants, trees, mulch, decorative rock, and other landscape materials Assist with irrigation system installation and repair Install pavers, patios, walkways, retaining walls, edging, and other hardscape features Perform grading, excavation, trenching, and site preparation Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power equipment safely Operate landscape and construction equipment based on experience and training Maintain clean and organized jobsites Follow instructions from Crew Leads and project management Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule Follow company safety procedures and take care of company equipment What We're Looking For Reliable and able to consistently show up ready to work Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard Reliable transportation to work is required Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work throughout the day Willing to learn new skills and take direction Able to work effectively with a team Takes pride in doing quality work Landscape, irrigation, hardscape, construction, or equipment experience is a plus Valid driver's license and good driving record are preferred Experience driving trucks and trailers is a plus Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but is not required.
