$20/hour Idaho Wallpaper Co. is a family-owned wallpaper installation company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Idaho. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and treating our clients and their spaces with care. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person who wants to learn a skilled trade and takes pride in doing excellent work. Wallpaper experience is not required. We will train the right person to install wallpaper to Idaho Wallpaper Co.'s standard of craftsmanship. Previous experience in wallpaper installation, construction, finish carpentry, painting, or other hands-on trade work is a plus. What You'll Learn & Do Prepare walls and workspaces for installation Measure, cut, and install a variety of wallcoverings Match patterns and create clean, precise seams Work carefully around corners, trim, windows, fixtures, and other challenging areas Protect clients' homes, furnishings, and workspaces Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Work alongside an experienced installer while learning the trade Eventually complete installations independently to Idaho Wallpaper Co.'s standard of excellence We're Looking for Someone Who Is dependable and shows up on time Has strong attention to detail Enjoys working with their hands Takes pride in doing things correctly Is patient and willing to learn Can follow instructions and accept feedback Is comfortable working independently once trained Communicates professionally with coworkers and clients Can safely perform the physical requirements of installation work, including working on ladders and being on their feet throughout the day Experience No wallpaper installation experience is required. Previous experience in wallpaper installation, construction, painting, finish work, or another skilled trade is helpful but not necessary. Work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are more important to us than having wallpaper experience. Pay & Training Starting pay is $20/hour. This is a paid, hands-on training position. As you develop your skills and demonstrate that you can complete installations independently and consistently meet Idaho Wallpaper Co.'s standards for quality and craftsmanship, your pay will increase accordingly. We're looking for someone interested in becoming a skilled professional installer—not simply someone looking for a temporary labor position.
