PRECAST YARD / GENERAL LABOR

Job Description This role supports multiple departments in a precast yard by assembling forms, assisting the customs department, and performing a variety of general labor tasks. You contribute directly to the production of precast concrete products through hands-on work with tools, materials, and equipment in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities + Assist in different departments within the precast yard as operational needs arise. + Assemble precast forms according to specifications and safety guidelines. + Support the customs department with general labor tasks and material handling. + Perform general construction labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials. + Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. + Help with concrete-related tasks, including preparation, pouring, and cleanup as needed. + Operate or assist with forklift operations when required and if properly trained. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production. + Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete daily production goals. Essential Skills + Experience with construction labor in an industrial or yard environment. + Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and measuring tools. + Ability to safely operate basic power tools used in construction and production settings. + Comfort working with concrete materials in a production or construction environment. + Basic understanding of general labor practices, including material handling and site cleanup. + Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and complete tasks reliably. + Physical ability to work outdoors and perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in carpentry or form assembly in a precast or construction setting. + Familiarity with forklift operation in a yard or production environment. + Experience in production or manufacturing environments. + Willingness to learn new tasks and cross-train in different departments. + Strong attention to safety and adherence to workplace procedures.
