- Excavation Laborer We're a growing excavation company looking for a dependable laborer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to build a career in excavation. No prior excavation experience is required
- we're willing to train the right person. About the position Full-time, Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM
- 4:00 PM but hours may vary Work is primarily outdoors and can involve physically demanding tasks Assist excavation crew with residential and commercial excavation projects Opportunity to learn and operate excavation equipment as skills develop Typical responsibilities Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation Shovel, rake, move materials, and perform general labor Assist equipment operators and crew members Help with loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, organized jobsite Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies Perform basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors Other duties as needed to support the excavation crew Occasional travel to job sites outside the local area may be required, with per diem provided when applicable Qualifications Previous equipment operating experience is a plus Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team Must be able to safely lift and carry materials as required Valid driver's license Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening What we offer Wage depends on experience Overtime opportunities Competitive benefits package including health insurance Opportunities for advancement and equipment training
