Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various construction and restoration projects by performing hands-on tasks, inspections, and technical duties. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of construction while contributing to impactful restoration work. Duties Assist in construction management activities, including site setup, coordination, and supervision of daily operations Perform construction inspection to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for various projects Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate tasks such as concrete forming, demolition, or material handling Install fixtures, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, trim carpentry, and other building components with precision Conduct remodeling and restoration work including plastering, stucco application, caulking, painting, and masonry repairs Support electrical work such as wiring installation or troubleshooting; assist with plumbing and HVAC tasks as needed Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site using hand tools and fabrication equipment Perform roofing, tile laying, glass installation, and hardscape work to enhance project outcomes Ensure all work aligns with safety protocols; maintain detailed documentation of inspections and project progress Experience Prior experience in construction inspection or hands-on construction roles is highly preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is essential for accurate project execution Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating and project management processes is a plus Experience working with bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is advantageous Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely Background in building finishing trades such as drywall installation, flooring installation, carpentry (frame and trim), or masonry is desirable Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing installations, roofing techniques, and restoration processes will set you apart Ability to work effectively on construction sites in various conditions while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in restoration.
