Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you'll assist skilled tradespeople in executing a variety of construction tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on every project. From preparing sites to supporting finishing touches, your hands-on work will contribute directly to creating durable structures and beautiful spaces. Duties Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Operate hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications Install rebar and formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Handle heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely in accordance with workplace safety regulations Support various trades including carpentry, masonry, roofing, drywall installation, and tile laying to meet project deadlines Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in related manual labor roles preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to learn new skills in a collaborative environment.
