Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various outdoor tasks, including landscaping, lawn care, power washing and other maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating machinery such zero turn mowers, tractors, trimmers etc. The Skilled Laborer will contribute to the upkeep of properties through effective landscape maintenance, tree care, and hardscape installation. Must have reliable transportation and open availability. This is a seasonal position. Duties Ensuring park safety and compliance with policies Perform lawn care tasks including mowing and trimming, and park maintenance Engage in landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, and gardening Operate heavy machinery including tractors and mowers Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks related to hardscaping and tree trimming Assist in snow plowing during winter months to maintain safe access to properties Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance Playground safety inspections Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Cleaning restrooms and park grounds daily Interacting with park patrons of all ages Experience Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields is preferred Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues Experience in tree care practices including trimming and removal is advantageous Knowledge mowers and tractors and their maintenance is a plus Previous experience in construction or similar labor-intensive roles is beneficial

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
