Job Description
Precision Ink Corporation is currently seeking a Manufacturing Laborer to join our team at our Elk Grove Village, IL manufacturing facility. We are a family-owned and operated ink manufacturer offering stable, long-term employment with strong benefits. This is a workplace where your effort makes a real impact every day — and where hard work gets noticed. Position Details This is a job that requires physical labor. Full time, permanent, year-round position Second shift (2pm to 10:30pm). Training will occur on first shift - once trained you will move to second shift. Training usually takes about a month. 40 hours per week with occasional overtime Manufacturing / production environment Physical labor intensity similar to professional landscaping Starting Pay $20.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift (on top of the $20) Potential to earn more for experienced high performers. Benefits Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with 3% company contribution Job Responsibilities This position involves hands-on manufacturing work related to paste ink production, including but not limited to: Manually adding raw materials to batches of ink Operating scales, mixers, and three-roll mills Cleaning and maintaining mixing tubs/pots, equipment, and tools Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area Following instructions and production procedures Required Skills Reliable and dependable - show up and show up on time. Must be self-motivated and have a positive team oriented "let's get it done" attitude. Good attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willing and able to perform hands-on manufacturing work requiring regular physical activity, including lifting or moving 50 lbs or more repeatedly. Comfortable with getting dirty as a regular part of the job. Able to stand and work on your feet for the entire shift. Able to reliably commute to work and work overtime as needed. Experience doing hands on work in a manufacturing, landscaping, or construction environment is a plus.
