General Construction Worker/Laborer Location:

As a General Construction Worker/Laborer , you'll assist with interior remodels and installations across kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and more. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters, learning the trade while helping with setup, cleanup, and hands-on construction work. This role is perfect for someone who's dependable, eager to learn, and ready to build a future in the trades. Responsibilities Assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup for residential remodeling projects. Help cut, shape, and assemble building materials using power tools safely and correctly. Support carpenters with cabinet, trim, and fixture installations. Assist with drywall installation, patching, and painting as needed. Help with flooring installs (LVP, laminate, hardwood) and tile work under supervision. Perform light plumbing or electrical prep tasks under guidance. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace on every job. Qualifications Some experience in carpentry, construction, or general labor preferred (but not required). Familiarity with hand and power tools and willingness to learn new equipment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical work (reasonable accommodations available). Reliable transportation and ability to commute to job sites within ~40 minutes of Frankfort, IL. Willingness to submit to a background check and drug test after offer, consistent with Illinois law. Employees Compensation:

$18.00 to $25.00 per hour (DOE)
