In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation projects. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete-related work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications for structural support Help with heavy lifting of materials like lumber, concrete blocks, and steel components to ensure efficient workflow Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate execution of tasks Maintain safety protocols by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations and using proper safety gear at all times Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not required; we provide training for motivated individuals Knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and construction estimating is a plus Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or concrete pumps is advantageous Hands-on experience with masonry, drywall installation, roofing, stucco application, or flooring installation is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Understanding of construction safety standards and ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors Join us in building quality structures while developing your skills in a supportive team environment!
