This position supports daily plant operations by maintaining a clean and safe work environment, assisting with material handling, and helping keep equipment running smoothly. Position Summary The Laborer performs a variety of general labor, housekeeping, and material handling tasks throughout the facility. The role includes monitoring material flow, cleaning up spillage around conveyors, operating mobile equipment (forklift, Skid steer and telehandler), supporting maintenance activities, and completing assigned yard and grounds tasks. This is a hands-on, safety-sensitive position in an industrial environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and material flow; notify the operator/supervisor of issues to prevent downtime and material backups.
• Remove spilled or fallen material at the ends of conveyor belts and shovel it into designated dumpsters.
• Operate a forklift and telehandler to move materials and to move/empty dumpsters and bins (training provided as needed).
• Climb ladders and walk upstairs to access and clean aspirators and magnet house trays.
• Maintain housekeeping throughout the plant and (sweep floors, remove trash, keep work areas clean and organized).
• Keep mobile equipment clean (interior and exterior).
• Assist the Plant Operator and Millwright with repairs and maintenance when needed.
• Perform yard work during downtime, including lawn care as needed.
• Support dust suppression activities, including using a water truck to wet down the yard and piles as needed.
• Follow all safety rules, procedures and reporting, including wearing required PPE and always using safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk upstairs and climb ladders.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working on platforms up to approximately 40 feet high.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures and varying weather conditions.
• Ability and willingness to operate a forklift, Skid steer and telehandler (training provided on site).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in an industrial processing plant and outdoor yard environment. The position may involve exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, uneven surfaces, and varying temperatures. Regular climbing of stairs/ladders and working at heights may be required. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay and Benefits Pay Rate/Range:

$_18 to 22_ per hour (based on experience).

Schedule/Shift:

6am-2pm(overtime may be required as needed) Reports To Plant Supervisor / Plant Operator (or as assigned).
