Laborer

Windy City Tower Techs LLC, a leading provider of wireless communication solutions, is seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team in Wauconda, IL. As a Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of communication towers, contributing to the seamless operation of wireless communication infrastructure in the Midwest and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and construction of tower sites, including excavation, grading, and site cleanup. Provide support to Tower Technicians and Foremen during tower installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Perform general labor duties, such as digging trenches, pouring concrete, carrying materials, and operating hand and power tools. Assist with the assembly and disassembly of tower sections, antennas, cables, and associated equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite, ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety and maintaining a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members, following instructions and assisting in tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor tasks, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Standing and walking endurance, lifting, and carrying up to 70 pounds, squatting, and kneeling, pulling, pushing & bending. Willingness to learn and be trained on tower construction and maintenance techniques. Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team, and contribute to a positive work environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality CDL license is a major plus.
