This position combines hands-on craftsmanship with leadership responsibilities, overseeing the installation of hardscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, and decorative concrete while supporting the overall construction process. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results that transform landscapes and outdoor environments. Duties Lead and supervise hardscape installation crews, ensuring safety protocols and project specifications are followed accurately. Prepare and set up job sites, including layout, marking, and material staging for efficient workflow. Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery necessary for excavation, concrete finishing, masonry, and fabrication tasks. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installation of pavers, stonework, retaining walls, and other hardscape features. Assist with construction estimating and inspection processes to maintain quality standards and project timelines. Coordinate with project managers to ensure materials such as concrete forms, stucco, glass installations, and elements are delivered on schedule. Perform finishing tasks including concrete finishing, masonry work, tile laying, caulking, and restoration. Support other construction activities such as plumbing, (Drainage). Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA standards and company safety policies. Experience Proven experience in hardscape construction or related fields such as masonry, concrete finishing, or landscaping. Familiarity with bluebeam or similar digital markup tools is a plus for reviewing plans. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools within a construction setting. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles. Skills in construction estimating and inspection processes to ensure quality control. Ability to work effectively on construction sites with diverse teams while maintaining safety standards.
