Job Description

Septic Installation Laborer Perkins Septic & Drain Service is looking for a dependable Septic Installation Laborer to join our installation crew. This position involves assisting with the installation, repair, and replacement of septic systems. The right candidate should be willing to work outdoors, perform physical labor, follow directions, and work safely around excavation equipment and jobsite conditions. Responsibilities include hand digging, grading, helping install pipe, assisting with septic tanks, distribution boxes, trenches, stone, and other system components, loading and unloading tools and materials, keeping jobsites clean and organized, and helping the crew complete installations efficiently and safely. Some skid loader experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in excavation, septic installation, construction, underground utilities, landscaping, or general labor is helpful. Applicants must be dependable, safety-minded, able to work as part of a team, and willing to learn. This is a hands-on position with the opportunity to grow within a family-owned company. Responsibilities Assist with septic system installations, repairs, and replacements Hand dig with a shovel when needed Help install pipe, stone, tanks, distribution boxes, and other septic system components Assist equipment operators and crew leaders on jobsites Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment Help maintain clean and safe jobsites Follow company safety procedures and instructions Work outdoors in various weather and ground conditions Assist with other duties as assigned by management Requirements Must be dependable and on time Must be able to perform physical labor Must be willing to work outdoors Must be able to follow directions and safety procedures Must be able to work around excavation equipment Valid driver's license preferred Skid loader experience preferred, but not required Septic, excavation, construction, or utility experience preferred Must pass pre-employment drug screen Schedule Full-time position. Overtime may be available or required depending on workload. Pay $18.00 - $24.00 depending on experience
