Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where you will play a vital role in bringing building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the creation of durable, high-quality structures. Your hands-on involvement will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to precise specifications. Duties Assist with the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and formwork construction to prepare for pouring and finishing concrete. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to support various construction tasks including concrete pumping, cutting, and finishing. Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps, ensuring proper placement according to blueprints and technical drawings. Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprint specifications to accurately execute tasks such as masonry, metal stud framing, and tile laying. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor for site cleanup, material movement, and restoration work while adhering to safety protocols. Support carpentry activities including framing, drywall installation, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and your team. Requirements Previous experience working on construction projects or in a related trade such as masonry or carpentry is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, concrete pouring/finishing, and concrete cutting is essential. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights or in confined spaces; ability to stand for long periods. Knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues during projects. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in renovation and restoration projects.
