Whether we're preparing a site for construction, digging utilities, or shaping landscapes, we approach each project with professionalism, precision, and respect for the community! Key Responsibilities Assist with installing trench and excavation safety systems to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Support the setup and installation of underground utility pipelines, including water, sewer, and stormwater lines. Learn and adhere to Indiana's no‑dig regulations and the 811 utility‑locate process to ensure proper compliance on all projects. Perform general site maintenance tasks such as housekeeping, erosion control, and basic tool care to keep the work area organized and efficient. Operate hand tools and small equipment—including pipe saws, pumps, and impact wrenches—to support daily construction activities. Carry out additional labor duties as assigned to assist the crew and contribute to overall project success. Required Qualifications Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years' experience in lieu of education will be considered. 1 + year experience in manual labor or outdoor work. Permanent residence within commutable distance of work site. Valid Drivers License, clean driving record, and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment Preferred Qualifications CDL preferred but not required before employment. 1+ year underground construction experience. Work Conditions Outdoor construction environment; may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions. Frequent bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs), standing, and working in confined spaces or trenches.
