Industrial Laborer Job Description We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to support on-site operationsThis role requires individuals who are comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates must be ready to start immediately. This is not a light-duty position. Candidates must be reliable, willing to get dirty, able to listen and learn, and committed to showing up every day.Responsibilities:
Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled trades as needed. Follow all site safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Complete tasks efficiently while working as part of a team in outdoor conditions. Support additional labor tasks as assigned by site leadership.Requirements:
Ability to work long hours, including overtime (up to 70 hours/week). Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, walking for extended periods). Must have steel-toe boots on Day 1. Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor, construction, and production experience. Skills in concrete work, forklift operation, cleaning, pressure washing, digging, industrial labor, groundskeeping, painting, stacking, lifting boxes, power tools, packing, hand tools, sweeping, industrial vacuum. The job involves exposure to hot, dirty, and rugged environments, including steel manufacturing facilities, power plants during shutdowns, and chemical plants. You will be exposed to industrial noise, varying weather conditions, and challenging terrain. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
