Commensurate with experience Position Summary Leads and coordinates day-to-day activity for SilverRock's construction crews across residential and commercial job sites. Responsible for keeping projects safe, on schedule, and built to plan and code. This is a supervisory, hands on field leadership role: the Lead Man potentially runs the job site and crew. This is a hands-on role, not a desk position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and direct the daily work of crew members on active job sites Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to keep work moving Perform quality control checks at each phase of construction Report project status, delays, and issues to ownership and project management promptly Maintain accurate daily logs, crew timesheets, and material usage records Make field-level decisions to resolve problems without stopping the job Train and mentor crew members on technique, quality, and safety Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and light equipment Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of hands-on residential and commercial construction experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role Working knowledge of framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and general residential and commercial build-out Able to read and work from blueprints and construction documents Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead a crew Able to run a job site and supervise a crew with minimal day-to-day oversight from ownership Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physical labor outdoors in all seasons Reliable attendance and a proven track record of dependability Preferred Qualifications Experience leading crews on both new-build and renovation projects Experience coordinating subcontractor bids and scheduling Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing coordination on job sites Bilingual (English/Spanish) Work Environment Frequent travel between active job sites in Kansas. Some early mornings and occasional overnight travel required. Work is performed both outdoors and indoors in varying weather and site conditions.
