Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our Pipe Crew team. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems at various construction sites. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in the construction industry. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment while contributing to essential infrastructure projects. Candidates with a CDL Class A are strongly preferred, but it is not required. If you have construction experience and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Assist with installation of sanitary, water, and storm sewer lines Lay pipe and set manholes and precast structures Verify pipe flow lines, grades, alignments, and joint connections Perform concrete work related to utility installations Operate and work around heavy equipment safely Drive dump trucks (tandem and tri-axle) if properly licensed Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites (CDL holders) Use hand tools (shovels, saws, sledgehammers, saws, etc.) Maintain a safe and clean job site Follow all OSHA and company safety policies Qualifications Construction or utility installation experience preferred CDL Class A preferred (combo/air brakes a plus, but not required) Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred (if licensed) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions Mechanical knowledge a plus Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Safety-focused with acceptable DMV/MVR record (if driving) Willing to travel as needed and work required schedules Must pass background check and drug screening This position provides valuable experience in the construction industry with opportunities for skill development and career growth within our company.
