About Us Garibay Siteworks is a family-owned company based in Manhattan, KS. We handle civil sitework and construction projects, including excavation, grading, demolition, underground utilities, stormwater systems, sanitary sewer, water lines, concrete forming, retaining walls, irrigation systems, sod installation, and lawn seeding. Position Overview We are hiring a motivated Civil Construction & Landscape Laborer to join our crew. This hands-on role involves working outdoors on a variety of projects, from heavy civil construction to landscape installs. No experience required—we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist with excavation, trenching, grading, and demolition. Support the installation of stormwater sewer, sanitary sewer, and water lines. Help with utility installation and site infrastructure work. Assist with concrete forming, prep, and pours. Build retaining walls and install irrigation systems, sod, and lawn seeding. Load/unload and move materials on job sites. Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment under supervision. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean job site. Qualifications Construction or landscaping experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors year-round. Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
