Full-Time Description:

The Loadout Crew Laborer at Prestressed Concrete Construction plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our production yard. This position involves a variety of tasks including assisting the crane operator, driving trucks, operating forklifts and small tractors, loading and unloading production, and maintaining a clean and organized yard. The ideal candidate is hardworking, reliable, and capable of performing physical labor in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the crane operator with loading and unloading concrete products, ensuring proper rigging and secure lifting of materials. Operate swamper trucks, yard trucks, forklifts, and small tractors to move trailers, production materials, and maintain yard functionality. Load production pieces onto trailers and semi-trucks for transport, ensuring loads are secure and meet quality standards. Unload materials and store them in designated areas according to operational guidelines. Strip concrete pieces from beds and prepare them for the next production cycle. Perform yard maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor promptly. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate efficient daily operations.

Qualifications:

Ability to operate heavy equipment such as swamper trucks, yard trucks, forklifts, and small tractors. Basic knowledge of rigging and material handling procedures. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads (up to 75 lbs.). Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously during the shift.
