Position Summary ORC Metal Building Erectors is seeking motivated, dependable individuals to join our crew as Entry-Level Construction Laborers. No prior steel erection experience is required—we will provide on-the-job training for the right candidates. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning skilled trades, and being part of a hardworking team. Responsibilities Assist experienced steel erectors with the installation of metal building systems and structural steel. Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools. Operate basic hand and power tools safely. Help install wall panels, roof panels, insulation, trim, and other building components. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Qualifications No experience required—training provided. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Reliable transportation to job sites or designated meeting locations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working at heights or willing to learn proper fall protection procedures. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day. Positive attitude and ability to work well with others. Valid driver's license is preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications Previous construction or labor experience. Experience using hand and power tools. OSHA 10 certification (not required). Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts (training available). Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms. Stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods. Perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
