In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transforming building exteriors with high-quality siding solutions, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help elevate residential and commercial projects by expertly installing vinyl siding and fiber cement Hardie Board, adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install vinyl siding and Hardie Board panels according to project plans and specifications Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation aligning with design intent Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively during installation processes Follow all construction safety protocols including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding to prevent accidents Perform site assessments to determine the best approach for siding installation while managing heavy lifting and outdoor work conditions Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to ensure adherence to industry standards and client expectations Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate work sequences and meet project deadlines Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation, roofing repair, or exterior building finishes Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, framing carpentry, masonry, welding, tile laying or related trades is highly desirable Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including ladder use, fall protection systems such as safety harnesses, and OSHA standards Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence Ability to interpret construction plans and technical schematics accurately for precise installation Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor work; capable of working at heights using ladders or scaffolding Additional handyman skills such as plumbing or restoration are a plus but not required Join us in delivering exceptional exterior solutions!
