Fence Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Fence Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of chain link fences across various sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn technical skills related to construction and landscape projects. Duties Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment. Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper placement according to project specifications. Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Participate in the assembly, installation, and securing of fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or ornamental fences. Support concrete forming and finishing tasks when required for fence posts or related structures. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as posts, panels, and fencing components to facilitate installation processes. Assist with landscape maintenance and hardscape work that complements fencing projects. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a secure work environment. Support masonry tasks related to foundation work or decorative features as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and uphold quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in chain link fence is preferred; Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related machinery. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety guidelines. Basic understanding of landscape maintenance or hardscape installation is a plus. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.
