Job Description
Job Overview Ace Quality Contracting is seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some previous construction experience, be comfortable performing a variety of general construction tasks, and be willing to learn new skills. Responsibilities Assist with general construction, renovation, and demolition work Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials Operate common hand tools and power tools safely Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled trades as needed Perform basic framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and finishing tasks based on experience Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers Travel to different job sites when required Qualifications Some previous construction or general labor experience preferred Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions for extended periods Strong attention to detail combined with excellent teamwork skills to support diverse construction activities This position requires frequent travel to construction projects in different cities and states. Employees should expect to be away from home for extended periods, depending on the project schedule. Applicants must be comfortable traveling regularly, staying in hotels, and working at various job sites. Reliable attendance, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing locations are required.
