Construction Laborer - Warehouse Floor Preparation Job Overview We are hiring Construction Laborers for a warehouse floor resurfacing project. This position involves physically preparing concrete floors for an epoxy coating. Laborers will perform manual floor preparation and operate a floor-scraping machine to remove existing coatings and surface material. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that requires dependable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely as part of a crew. Job Duties Operate a floor-scraping machine to prepare concrete floors for epoxy. Manually scrape, chip, sweep, and clean concrete surfaces. Remove flooring materials, debris, and other material from the work area. Assist with moving equipment, materials, and debris. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow directions from supervisors and work as part of a team. Follow all job-site safety procedures and wear required PPE. Perform other general labor duties as needed. Requirements Previous construction, general labor, warehouse, flooring, or industrial experience preferred. Experience operating power tools or equipment is a plus. Must be comfortable learning to operate floor-preparation equipment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials and equipment. Must be dependable and able to report to work as scheduled. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with dust, noise, and physical labor. Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
