This position involves physically demanding general labor and assisting with loading, unloading, and movement of cargo and materials. Responsibilities Load and unload cargo, materials, and equipment Assist with vessel and dock operations Move and position materials by hand or with basic equipment Secure and handle cargo safely Assist stevedores and other dock personnel with daily operations Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions Perform other general labor duties as assigned Requirements Previous stevedore, dock, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience is a plus Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Must be able to follow directions and work well as part of a team Must be willing to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed Must pass drug screen Must have TWIC Card Must be able to work 12-hour shifts Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift, weekends, and overtime as needed
