The starting pay is $20 an hour depending on experience. The schedule is Monday - Friday, full time with a morning start time with occasional overtime depending on project deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company.Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bilingual Construction Laborer to join our water/wastewater construction team. This position will work directly on active construction sites and will be responsible for assisting with general labor activities while also providing English/Spanish translation and communication support between crew members, supervisors, and other personnel. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, comfortable working in a construction environment, and able to communicate instructions clearly and effectively. Previous construction experience is preferred, particularly experience with concrete forms, gravel leveling, or general site work.Key Responsibilities:
Provide clear and accurate English/Spanish translation for crew members, operators, and supervisors Assist with setting and working with concrete forms Assist with leveling and grading gravel and preparing work areas Perform general jobsite cleanup and material handling Work around heavy equipment and construction operators while following all required safety procedures Assist other crew members with general labor tasks as directed Follow instructions from foreman, supervisors, and equipment operators May be assigned other duties, as necessary.Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to translate effectively between both languages Able to communicate clearly with supervisors, operators, and other crew members Comfortable working outdoors and in active construction environment Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Commitment to following company and jobsite safety procedures Must be able to pass a drug screeningPhysical Requirements:
This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.Benefits:
